WHAT IS THE WALL OF FAME?
The Wall Of Fame is a new wildlife photography competition for 2019, powered by SWAROVSKI OPTIK.

This competition is open to amateur wildlife photographers only. For the purposes of this competition, a professional photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their films or photographs.

You can enter the competition with an image 
captured through any method of wildlife photography. You may choose to enter images that feature non-UK based wildlife if you desire but you must be over 18 and a UK resident to enter.

HOW TO ENTER
You can enter the Wall Of Fame wildlife Photography Competition from 10th January 2019, simply by submitting your image(s) to Wildlife24/7 via any of the below social media platforms. It is important to note that you must be following Wildlife24/7 on your preferred platform in order to enter and must include the hashtag #WOF2019.

1. Facebook - by tagging, liking and following @wildlife24seven and using hashtag #WOF2019

2. Instagram - by tagging and following @wildlife247.CO.UK and using hashtag #WOF2019

3. Twitter - by tagging and following @wildlife24_7 and using hashtag #WOF2019

Deadline for entries is 30th November 2019. The winner will be chosen and announced in December 2019

GENERAL

Wildlife24/7 is launching the Wall Of Fame wildlife Photography Competition in January 2019.
The Competition is open to all UK residents, aged 18 years and above. Entrants will submit images featuring wildlife in their natural habitats with the aim of encouraging others and inspiring amateur wildlife enthusiasts to engage with the natural world around them.
The winner will receive a brand new pair of SWAROVSKI OPTIK cl companion 8x30 Binoculars.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION
The Wall Of Fame wildlife Photography Competition (‘the Competition’) is owned by ActivelyOutdoors Ltd (‘the Owners’).

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
By submitting an entry, you agree to be legally bound by the Rules and Terms and Conditions of the competition.

The competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
The Competition is open to all legal residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man aged 18 and above.
This competition is open to amateur photographers only. For the purposes of this competition, a professional filmmaker or photographer will be considered to be someone who makes more than half their annual income from the sale of their films or photographs.
No wildlife or habitats should be harmed or unduly disturbed in the process of taking photographs.
The entries must not:

portray subjects that have been captured using live bait;
portray subjects that are captive, models, restrained, domesticated, or being exploited for profit, except if done so for the purposes of reporting on exploitation of animal(s) by a third party, a welfare issue or the impacts of domesticated animals on wildlife.

ActivelyOutdoors Ltd accepts no responsibility for any technical failure, malfunction or of any other kind, which may result in any entry being lost, corrupted, not properly recorded or delayed.

CONSENT
Entrants must have obtained the consent of anyone who features in their photography.

No advertising is permitted within the photography.
The photography must not contain anything that is obscene, defamatory, indecent, unlawful, disrespectful or offensive.


DATES
Entries open Thursday 10th January 2019.
Official submission deadline is Friday 30th November 2019.
Winner announced in December 2019.


PHOTOGRAPHY ENTRIES
We are looking for participants to submit images that celebrate the diversity and beauty of wildlife and their natural habitats.
To be eligible, images:

must have been taken since 10th October 2018.
must not have been excessively treated so as to alter their authenticity, see below.

Digital adjustments including cropping, tone and contrast, sharpening, stitching, multiple exposures are permitted. The removal of objects, people, vegetation, background features or any action that alters the meaning or message of the photograph is not permitted.
Entrants may enter a maximum of ten (10) times.

PHOTOGRAPHY SUBMISSION PROCESS
Entrants must submit the Competition images
 to Wildlife24/7 via social media. It is important to note that entrants must be following Widlife24/7 in order to enter and must include the hashtag #WOF2019.

JUDGING PROCESS
All submissions received by the entry deadline will be reviewed by Wildlife24/7 representatives. Shortlisted entrants will be displayed in the 'Latest Wall Of Fame Gallery' feature within wildlife247.co.uk
All shortlisted entries will be reviewed by the final panel consisting of Wildlife24/7 and SWAROVSKI OPTIK representatives, which will select the winner.


PRIZE
There will be one (1) overall winner.
The winner of the Competition will receive:
a pair of 
SWAROVSKI OPTIK CL COMPANION 8X30 BINOCULARS in a colour choice of green or anthracite.

USE OF SUBMISSION MATERIALS
Each entry must be the original work of the entrant and must not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other party.
Ownership of the copyright in any entry submitted to the Competition will remain with the copyright owner. Images will be credited where possible and appropriate. The entrant agrees that ActivelyOutdoors Ltd, 
its judges, sponsors and partners, individually and collectively, will not be liable to the copyright holder in the event of inadvertent omission of credit.
By entering the Competition, the entrant grants ActivelyOutdoors Ltd a free non-exclusive, irrevocable licence to use images in all their publicity, publication and activities and in any promotional material connected to this Competition. This licence is granted only for use in relation to the Competition, which shall include but is not limited to any of the following uses:

PUBLICITY
Selected entries will be featured online and/or in publicity materials relating to the Competition.
Entry to the Competition gives ActivelyOutdoors Ltd, 
its judges, sponsors and partners, individually and collectively,  right, without separate consent or compensation, to publicise the name of the Winner, and Nominees if applicable, and to make further use of these in printed or online materials solely for the purposes of administering this Competition in accordance with applicable law.
Some entries will be featured on the wildlife247.co.uk website.
Entrants also acknowledge that publicity materials featuring them may be provided to SWAROVSKI OPTIK for the purposes of promoting their association with the Competition and awarding the relevant prize.

LIABILITY ACCEPTANCE
Submitting an image to the Competition implies full acceptance of the rules of the Competition.
By submitting, you are declaring that it is your own original work and that you are the author of the content.
Entrants agree to fully indemnify ActivelyOutdoors Ltd, its judges, sponsors and partners, individually and collectively, from and against any actual or threatened claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses, including legal expenses arising out of or in connection with any and all claims, or third party claims, based on material submitted to the Competition or use of the Prize.
